Maroc Telecom takes proactive measures to ensure customer safety, particularly for young users, against risks related to new technologies. It carefully selects its content and offers parental control services as well as a range of services aimed at protecting data and usage, and securing devices.
Furthermore, Maroc Telecom complies with international safety standards in the deployment of telecommunications antennas, notably by carefully selecting locations and conducting regular checks on exposure levels to electromagnetic fields. Meetings are held to address questions and concerns from local residents regarding the installation of relay antennas. A brochure, "Responsible Use of Mobile Phones," has been developed in collaboration with the Association of Moroccan Telecom Professionals (MATI), of which Maroc Telecom is a member, to pedagogically explain how mobile phones and antennas work, while reminding users of some safety principles.
Certified ISO 27001, Maroc Telecom places great importance on data security and personal data protection. In accordance with international standards and Moroccan legislation, it has implemented a privacy policy to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal information collected and processed within its activities.
Finally, Maroc Telecom promotes corporate social responsibility among its suppliers, thereby contributing to an overall approach of sustainability and adherence to ethical principles. Sustainable development clauses are included in supplier contracts, covering human rights, labor law, the environment, and anti-corruption measures. Annual audits are conducted on a sample to verify compliance with these clauses (Supplier Code).
