Maroc Telecom is now a smoke-free company.

First Smoke-Free Company

Maroc Telecom was the first company to join, in 2007, the national anti-smoking program "Colleges, High Schools, and Companies Without Tobacco," launched by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Salma, President of the Lalla Salma Foundation - Cancer Prevention and Treatment.

Our Anti-Tobacco Initiatives

An action plan has been implemented with the goal of reducing the number of smokers. Awareness campaigns against the harmful effects of tobacco, medical follow-ups, nearly free quitting products, a smoking ban in the premises to protect non-smokers... all of these actions have helped, to date, over 1,000 employees quit smoking and nearly 350 others reduce their cigarette consumption.

Gold Label

In 2010, Maroc Telecom was the first and only company to receive the "Smoke-Free Company" Gold Label from the Lalla Salma Foundation – Cancer Prevention and Treatment. This label, which rewards efforts made in the fight against smoking, has been awarded to the company every year since then.

Permanent Smoke-Free Company Status Label

In 2014, during the label award ceremony of the Foundation, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Salma, held at the Maroc Telecom auditorium, Princess Lalla Salma unveiled a commemorative plaque for the label granting permanent smoke-free company status to Maroc Telecom, which had received the Gold Label for five consecutive years.
