Moov Africa Côte d’Ivoire’s Mobile business is structured around prepaid and postpaid services, offering 3G/4G voice and data packages. It also provides roaming for its Mobile subscribers abroad as well as for customers of foreign partner operators visiting Côte d’Ivoire. In 2021, Moov Africa Côte d’Ivoire also launched its FTTH service. The subsidiary also offers an m-payment service under the Moov Money brand.

As of September 30, 2023, the Ivorian market had 42.8 million Mobile customers, representing a penetration rate of 152%.

In this market, two major operators are active alongside Moov Africa Côte d’Ivoire: Orange Côte d’Ivoire and MTN Côte d’Ivoire, following market consolidation in April 2016.

Moov Africa Côte d’Ivoire’s Mobile base, almost entirely prepaid, stood at 10.3 million customers as of December 31, 2023, down 5.4% year-on-year despite intensified competition and customer identification requirements. Moov Africa Côte d’Ivoire’s market share reached 23% at the end of September 2023.
