Moov Africa Niger’s Mobile business is structured around prepaid and postpaid services, offering voice and data packages. It also provides roaming for its Mobile subscribers abroad as well as for customers of foreign partner operators visiting Niger. In addition to 3G services (launched in July 2017), Moov Africa Niger also offers an m-payment service under the Moov Money brand.

As of September 30, 2023, the Nigerien market had 15.4 million Mobile customers, representing a penetration rate of 61%.

In this market, three operators are active alongside Moov Africa Niger: Airtel Niger, Zamani, and Niger Telecom (created on December 28, 2016, through the merger of the two Nigerien state telecommunications companies Sonitel and Sahelcom).

Moov Africa Niger’s Mobile base, almost entirely prepaid, stood at 3.2 million customers as of December 31, 2023. Moov Africa Niger’s market share reached 20% at the end of September 2023.
